This neighborhood is also known as the second seaside resort of The Hague. Take a nice walk or bike ride through the dunes, swim in the North Sea, or climb the Hemels Gewelf (the Celestial Vault) piece of art to be surprised by the view.
Kijkduin and Ockenburgh are green residential areas right by the coast and beautiful green areas, such as the Ockenburg estate and the Uithof. In Kijkduin and Ockenburgh, you’ll find homes mostly from the 1980s as well as the many newer, spacious single-family and semi-detached homes. The number of homes will increase significantly with spacious single-family homes: dune villas, dune chalets, and apartments.

In Kijkduin they are currently working hard on building a new shopping center with an underground parking garage. It’ll have many stores, restaurants, and approximately 200 apartments.
