The neighborhood of Loosduinen consists of two residential areas, each with its own character. Kom van Loosduinen is the old village center of Loosduinen, which is characterized by a characteristic village atmosphere with a wide variety of houses and narrow streets. There is even a mill! Houtwijk is a typical neighborhood from the 80s with many single-family homes, some high apartment buildings, and lots of greenery and water.
In shopping center Loosduinse Hoofdstraat or the Hildo Kroplaan, you’ll find a wide range of stores for your daily groceries as well as for fashion, leisure, and luxury items. If you want to do some serious shopping, you can get to the city center by bike within half an hour.
Loosduinen is a green residential area and has its own park, park Bokkefort. Nature and recreation are close by. You’re at the boulevard or the beach of Kijkduin in no time, from where you can easily walk to the Sand Motor.
